On August 8, 2019, the motion to adopt Resolution No. 2018-38 approving the fourth program year annual Action Plan for fiscal year 2018-2019, in the funding amount of $618,176, for the Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG) of the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan, as required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), was approved. This will meet federal funding requirements to receive CDBG funding. The Action Plan identified $345,541 to be used for rehabilitation, which includes reconstruction.

The Community Development Department Housing & Real Estate Division received three bid proposals submitted February 6, 2019:

• Pro-Care LLC                                     $182,684.00
• Contractor Services of SWFL             $135,945.00
• Tarpon Bay Construction                    $164,820.00

Contractor Services of SWFL was chosen as they were the lowest bidder.

A Homeowner and Contractor Rehabilitation Agreement was signed April 5, 2019, between the homeowner and contractor, Contractor Services of SWFL. The contractor shall furnish and provide labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to complete in a good and workman like manner all work specified in bid document in strict conformance with plans and specifications signed and dated by both parties.
